1章2話 Rabbits, wield your bayonets!

旧SRT特殊学園学生寮

ミヤコ(異形)「What the fuck!?」

ある日ミヤコに衝撃の知らせが入った。

サキ(異形)「Don't make me say it again: SRT was shut down following the disappearance of the General Student Council President. Apparently, it was a direct decree from the Council itself.」

SRTの閉鎖である。彼女はSRTの特殊部隊として戦える事に人一倍誇りを持っており、FOX小隊を筆頭とした先人達に大きな憧れを持っていた。故にこの決定は到底納得できるものではなかった。

ミヤコ(異形)「Shutting down the school just because someone went missing...? Don't mess with me! What happens to the glory built by the legendary FOX Team then? And the capture of the "Calamity Fox," too—damn it... FOX Team must be protesting this as well—」

ミヤコはFOX小隊は今頃抗議活動をしているだろうと考えたがそれを遮る様にサキが続ける。

サキ(異形)「The FOX unit has lodged no protest whatsoever. On the contrary, they have stooped so low as to become the lapdogs of the "Defense Office."」

それを聞いたミヤコが信じられないと言わんばかりの顔を向ける。

ミヤコ(異形)「...Huh? You've got to be kidding.」

サキ(異形)「……It’s the truth.」

ガシャアン！！！

ミヤコ(異形)「You traitors! Die! You fucking bitches!」

サキ(異形)「Miyako...」

怒りと失望で備品を破壊するミヤコ。だがそれで悄気る彼女ではなかった。

ミヤコ(異形)「……We’re going to build it.

サキ(異形)「…What?」

ミヤコ(異形)「If it’s gone, we’ll just build it back up! We’ll raid and capture the local *sukeban* and Helmet Gang members, turn them into students, and build a massive academy at Little Rabbit Park!」

ミヤコはスケバンとヘルメット団を力をもって生徒にし、独立した学園を僅かな期間で創り上げたのだ！

先生「それで連邦生徒会と一悶着あったけど全校総出で抗い首を縦に振らせたんだから凄えよ。」

ミヤコ(異形)「Well, not getting cooperation from the other academies was a huge factor, too... but I almost got sidetracked there—where have you been all this time?」

先生「ああそうだったな…簡単に言うと別世界のキヴォトスで研究ごっこをしていたんだ。」

チアキ(異形)「カチカチカチカチ(遂に研究ごっこって言いましたね…。)」

サキ(異形)「Playing at research, huh? So, what did you find out?」

先生「vanitas_vanitatum_et_omnia_vanitas」

ミヤコ(異形)「Was it all for nothing」

先生「でも一つ分かったことならあるぞ。」

ミヤコ(異形)「Beings just like us, even if their forms differ... is that it?」

サキ(異形)「I’d certainly love to try out a mock exercise.」

先生「(その前に卒倒しそうだな…こんなバケモンがテントからヌッと現れるところを想像すると怖いなんてものじゃない。)まぁおいそれとそこに行くのは至難の業だがいつかは来るといいな。じゃあ俺はもう帰るよ。」

ミヤコ(異形)「Oh, right. Since you've come all this way, you really ought to take something along for self-defense. I'd recommend a rocket launcher, a machine gun, or a flamethrower.」

先生「(あの先生なら絶対に受け取らないだろうが…私は私のやり方で生きてやるさ。)じゃあ…この火炎放射器を貰おうか。」

先生はズラリと並ぶ武器から火炎放射器を取り装備する。

サキ(異形)「Ghostbusters♪」

先生「ゴーストバスターズはちょっと違うとは思うなぁ…ん？ゴーストバスターズか？ゴーストバスターズであってるのか？」

そうして二人はミヤコとサキ(それと在校生達の阿鼻叫喚)に見送られながらSRT軍事・特殊傭兵学園を去った。

チアキ(異形)「カチカチカチカチ」

先生「次か、そうだな…次は」

トリニティ総合学園に行こうか。
