To all expected wizards: This book is for beginners who want to use magic. I assume there are none of the readers that are human beings since humans cannot use magic power. Because of this, you have plenty of time to understand basic magic. There are many complex theories and formulas regarding the magic. Unfortunately, these two are the most important elements, so you must grasp these. After you understand all of the concepts, you are ready to go! Now, it is time to fight with the guardian.

パチュリー・ノーレッジは英語を知らなかったが、この光景を見ていた八雲紫（幻想郷の管理者。幻想郷全体の監視が能力によって可能）は英語がわかり、絶句していた。
なぜなら、かつて幻想郷に住まう一部の魔力を持つものは当時の幻想郷の守護者を殺そうとしていたということが書いてあったからだ。
ただ、彼女は知らなかった。彼女は当時幻想郷に住んでいなかったからだ。それか、生まれていなかった。
「どっちにしろ、鈴原優希について調べなきゃ。魔力を巧妙に隠しているように見えるけど、私には無駄。あなたが何者なのか調べさせてもらうわ。幻想郷と外の世界でね」
